Today Papa woke up early at 0745 and talked with his Papa on the phone. :) Papa and Dada do really long phone calls unlike most father-sons.

Avani was feeding with Mumma when Papa went into the bedroom around 0845. Lakshmi reached at 9 am. She cooked breakfast and lunch while Avani roamed around with Mumma and then with Papa while he tried to help her sleep. She slept at 0940 with Papa after listening to many songs on YouTube. 2 drops of Soliwax were put in each ear by Mumma. Mumma-Papa had breakfast and Mumma left at 10:22 exactly when the baby woke up and smiled at Papa who had just said bye to Mumma at the door.

Milk was ready by 10:40. Today the water-bath had lukewarm water but milk got heated in 5 mins. Avani had 50 ml of milk very quickly. Then she played peekaboo in the laundry bag with lakshmi near the guest room door.

Next it was the introduction of a new meal for her: sort-of breakfast - steamed carrots from 11 to 11:20 am. She had around 1.5 fingers of it. After this she continued playing near the balcony door.

Bath water and second bottle of milk (50 ml) were readied at the same time around 1140 am.

A long oil massage was followed by bath (no shampoo, soap day) - both completed by 12:10 pm. Avani got dressed and she was ready for her milk (good thinking ahead by Papa). She drank her second bottle by 12:25. After this, Papa hoped that Avani would sleep but Avani was not really ready yet. He tried coaxing her but it didn’t work. Lakshmi took her around the house and Avani came back quite sleepy. Papa doled out his bad vocals and Avani slept in no time at 12:56. Papa put 2 drops of Soliwax in each of her ears around 13:20. She moved in her sleep - it seemed she would wake up but Papa was gentle with her and few pats helped her go back to sleep each time.

Avani woke up at 1404 - almost an hour later. Her lunch was cooked after this while Avani played around. She went to the balcony to look at the plants and appreciated the natural beauty around. Lunch started at 1540 - Khichdi. She had a little bit of it. Lakshmi tried mixing dahi into it which really accentuated the taste but Avani wasn’t much interested. After a while she began crying which went on through the cleaning process. Once the plate was removed, she was instantly happy! :) Papa realized that Avani might still be hungry. Hence the milk was heated for her. At 15:15, Avani gulped 50 ml in under a min. This was followed by another 50 ml in under one min at 15:23! Avani then did a WhatsApp call with dadi during which she smiled when she saw herself through the front camera. Lakshmi finished her lunch and took Avani around to help her sleep. Papa had his lunch during that time. Avani slept off at 4 pm - good job, Lakshmi!

She woke up at 5 pm when Mumma was on her way back home. She whatsapped with Mumma as well.

Avani was elated to see Mumma once she reached home.
