Sleeping-wise or rather for the metric time-to-sleep, yesterday was Avani’s best performance till date. Each time she slept off quickly with little to no fuss. Touchwood, hope this continues. :)

Avani woke up at 05:30 am. Papa tried helping her back to sleep but he was too sleepy for coherency. Mumma put back the tiny tot back to sleep.

Avani woke up again at 0745. Mumma and Papa woke up this time. Maid had left. Baby Avani played around on the bed during this time.

She slept again at 0845 with Papa’s help - not much fuss. She had cried out while playing to explain that she was sleepy. She woke up mid-sleep at 0945 while Mumma was putting 2nd drop of Soliwax in her right ear (left ear was already done). Baby had pottied as well. She was cleaned up and Soliwax was administered into her right ear as well.

Avani had sweet potato for breakfast along with Papa-Mummy. Mumma left soon after Avani was done with breakfast. Lakshmi had gone to buy onions and tomatoes. Avani said bye cheerfully to Mumma in the corridor  , played with papa, then on her seat

Had milk 2 bottles 100 ml at 1129 (5-10 ml wasted because Lakshmi didn’t complete the second bottle (purple) before starting the third one - blue)

Baby Avani walked around with Lakshmi till 1200. With quick help from Papa, she slept off at

1210. Soliwax drops were administered at 1250. She woke up at 1320 looking restful. Quickly, Papa asked Lakshmi to ready her milk. Avani had 50 ml of the 60 ml milk at 1335. The rest 10 ml was completed at 1445.

There was a water shortage today - no water in taps in common bathroom. Warm water was sourced from attached bath and cold water from the kitchen. Avani got a massage at 1410 and bath (only soap) was done by 1435. She had lunch from 1450 to 1505 - Ragi Chilla with Onion and tomatoes. The curd trick didn’t work this time. However, she completed about 70% of her chilla.

She finally slept at 1533 on the floor bed after 2 unsuccessful attempts - she woke up when Papa transferred her from lap to bed each time. She woke up rather quickly at 1602. Lakshmi wasn’t sitting with her to pat her back to sleep. Avani played around near the kitchen door for a while and clicked a few pics while playing with Papa’s phone.

Avani had an important video conference call with Mumma at 1700 when Mumma was on her way back home.

Mumma asked for pakori to be cooked as evening snack which led to a fiasco.
