Avani learnt to drive the car while on the way to the restaurant
Avani developed a slight temperature and woke up at 2 am. Mumma-Papa were very concerned. Mumma held Avani close and helped her back to sleep. Avani woke up early at 7 am. Mumma and Papa were not ready for this. However, Avani didn’t cry or sprang up on all her fours. For the first time ever, she just lay in bed looking somewhat tired. Mumma patted her back to sleep. Avani slept from 8-1050 am. Lakshmi had come in at 9 - let in by Mumma. Papa was deaf to doorbells today.
Avani had bland pumpkin for breakfast at 1110 which she didn’t like at all. Mumma realized during lunchtime that the pumpkin was bland. Avani played around a bit and had crocin for the first time (0.7 ml). She played with both Mumma and Papa today since Mumma had taken the day off. Mumma got a head massage from Lakshmi.
Avani finally went back to sleep at 1 pm and woke up at 2 pm. She was given a quick massage and bath in fear of her slight fever. Avani wore new clothes today - her cute little yellow shorts have two back pockets but no zipper! :P She played a lot with the balloon Mumma had given Papa. The balloon was big enough to be an exercise ball for Avani. However she wanted to lick and chew the balloon as much as she could.
Avani had her lunch on the floor today around 1511.
This led to some new methods of eating. As usual she dropped food to her right and left. However, now the floor was within reach. She started dropping more food to pick up from the floor and eat. She leaned over her armrest and bent significantly on her right and left to achieve this feat. Papa picked up the booster chair and secured it on the chair of the dining table. Post lunch, she finally slept off at 1626 and woke up exactly an hour later.
In the evening, the trio went for a drive and had dinner in a resort.
The drive turned out a wee bit adventurous as Mumma-Papa almost went off-roading (very bad roads) near Gandipet Lake where there was no light and no other humans too. It was eerily silent and the huge trees swayed ominously in the wild winds which whistled a haunting tune in your ear - precursor to rains. There were villas on that road which had gates wider than width of most apartments.
Avani had home-cooked chilla on her booster chair at the restaurant.
